Looking for You...

This image introduces Zandi, he'll be an important character in Tiger of the Sun. His visual is heavily inspired on Obi-Wan Kenobi (Sir Alec Guinness) and the lamp he is holding received strong influence from Mandalorian architecture. The thing inside the lamp producing light are three cylindrical batons filled with fluorescent liquid. They produce a bright light and are cool to the touch. Their light can last for up to two weeks if never turned off. Just a small glimpse of the technology that will be present in the comic.

Trivia: For those of you who know my character Chip, Zandi is his guardian.

The reason why I painted this image is because I'm lost and I need to find myself. At some place in time I stopped making art (you probably noticed) and showed little activity in the communities I am a member of. I am still trying to figure out what actually happened, because to me that period felt timeless.
One negative aspect of what happened is that I feel my skills have regressed somehow, to the point that I had to ask my sister for help or I wouldn't be able to finish this. Rachel, thank you so much!
But that still doesn't change the fact that I am lost inside that mist. I seriously need to find myself and meanwhile I better start working on my art again to regain my lost skills.

I guess the one most directly responsible for my comeback was Esper (~repsesper). After watching his videos on YouTube (same username), I saw great passion in what he did and I started feeling that passion too. This is a tribute to all artists and creative minds in the world: [link]
